It was Shawn’s first time out boat fishing for cats, and my first time of the season.  The big ones were not playing tonight, but it may have had something to do with the lack of fresh bait.

Gander only had frozen sucker, and we just have had no luck finding many fish that like mushy bait!

Wednesday Night Ride, June 3rd!

Ok, so we knew that we were getting off to a good start.  It’s warm enough that 2 out of 9 were riding in shortsleeves.  We put on 81 miles down, but only 63 coming back, so you knew that we took the creative way down!

Billy’s bar in Vergas was the destination.  We found a few bugs on the way back.  Good thing the new brainbucket works well.
