The trip into the UP was amazing. Thick enough woods to make the XM radio lose signal! Curvy roads and actual mountians. We ran past the line of all the famous ones: Powderhorn, Indianhead, Blackjack, etc.
After leaving Marquette, Michigan, we found that there are some long straight roads as well. The shot across over to Sault St Marie was straight, but pretty.
