So this was my first adventure into installing a mailbox. I actually think its level too! Everyone should have no trouble finding us now with those reflective numbers on top! I’m so impressed with the little things! So as of July 22th, Michelle, Macy and Mark will be moving into our new home! We are excited to just watch all the new neighbors parade by checking out the newbies! If you see this site, come on up and ring the bell, there is beer in the fridge!! If anyone has the urge to haul boxes the week of th 26th, feel free to stop in. Dad, can you pull up some of those seedlings on the north side of your yard? I think we need to get to know the neighbors with one of those fast growing “leaf bombs” in our yard! I think we are all excited that we are in a new neighborhood, with friends close by, and the sled trails just to the North of us. Although I think Macy likes the playground/sledding hill right in our back yard! Big thanks go out to Gena and Michael “the Spice Team” at Town and Country realtors. Not only did they work hard to get us into this house, but help chuck boxes!! What more could you ask for in an agent! (your mileage may vary!) Of course the biggest thanks go out to Todd from T&S for building such a beautiful new home! We are excited to show it off to all of our friends! We hope he builds more in our neighborhood as it should keep the property values up! (for all those that have had the urge to send us anything to the address in our reception invite, PLEASE DO NOT! It is the wrong address) Our new address is: 1005 6th AV NE, DIlworth, MN 56529 Thank you! Sue and Andy’s driveway always makes for a nice backdrop for photos. All we needed was for Bucky to be in the backdrop! 80+ degrees and sunny all weekend. Good ride, good friends, the beers on the lake helped too! It’s amazing how much junk a person can pack into 4 saddlebags and a trunk bag. We even had room to stop on the way to pick up weiners, buns and a 2ltr of diet. What could be better? It was Shawn’s first time out boat fishing for cats, and my first time of the season. The big ones were not playing tonight, but it may have had something to do with the lack of fresh bait. Gander only had frozen sucker, and we just have had no luck finding many fish that like mushy bait! Wednesday Night Ride, June 3rd! Ok, so we knew that we were getting off to a good start. It’s warm enough that 2 out of 9 were riding in shortsleeves. We put on 81 miles down, but only 63 coming back, so you knew that we took the creative way down! Billy’s bar in Vergas was the destination. We found a few bugs on the way back. Good thing the new brainbucket works well. Tis the season for Wednesday Night Ride! 74 degrees on the way out, a bit cooler on the way back. The smell of lakes, campfires, garbage fires etc. IT’S GOOD TO HAVE IT ALL BACK!! We had 8 for this week’s ride to Zorbaz on Pelican. 95 miles round trip was easy for anyone! We hope to see more out next week, weather permitting! Just a quick stop at the Cormorant Pub to find it full and hot. The usual suspects showed up for this week’s Wednesday Night Ride, plus some new faces. According to the wall-safe in our room, we have had a great first night in Vegas! Now, let’s see if we can fill that little sucker before Monday!! More to come! Oh, in case anyone was curious, according to John Stewart on the Daily Show, the flood is over. Check out the clip. It’s great!! |
